Marconi's Voodoo
Hailing from Oxfordshire in Southern England, Marconi's Voodoo is a band that Steven formed with his peers from secondary school. Producing high-intensity riff-infused metal, the band cry out for justice in a world of oppression.
Winning a competition in Kerrang! magazine to support punk-rockers Farse on a series of UK tour dates, Marconi's Voodoo also headlined the O2 Academy in Oxford on several occasions and performed on the main stage at Truck and Charlbury festivals.
The band produced a series of EPs in the late 1990s and early 2000s, including an untitled debut EP, Mirror Mirror, Aquarius, and Nightmare. In 2024, after the band split, songwriter and guitarist Steven released Revolution, a full-length album comprising the best of the band's studio recordings including two epic songs that were previously unreleased. The album is available on CD and vinyl from the StevenColborne.com shop and can be found on popular streaming platforms.
Steven Colborne
In 2018, Steven recorded an experimental solo album titled Tell Everyone Now. The album represents the culmination of the 'T.E.N.' project, a recording endeavour which saw Steven release a new song on the tenth day of each month at 10am for ten consecutive months. The album is diverse in style, including electro-rock anthems, an acoustic song, an 'alien-rock' song, instrumentals, and lyrics that range from the profound to the absurd. Tell Everyone Now is available on CD and vinyl formats from the StevenColborne.com shop and can be found on popular streaming platforms.
