About

Welcome to the online home of Steven Nicholas Colborne.

Steven is a first-class BA (Hons) graduate of the University of Westminster and holds a postgraduate certificate in Philosophy and Religion from the University of London. Perhaps more important than his academic qualifications is Steven's spiritual journey, which has involved immersive explorations of both Eastern and Western spiritual practices and philosophical traditions.

Steven has written more than fifteen books, including six full-length works, the most prominent of which is God's Grand Game: Divine Sovereignty and the Cosmic Playground, in which he presents a comprehensive overview of his philosophical perspective.

As a musician, Steven has composed in the heavy metal, electronic, and experimental genres, and his projects include the band Marconi's Voodoo (progressive hardcore) and solo work as Steven Colborne (experimental). In Marconi's Voodoo, Steven won a competition in Kerrang! magazine to support ska-rockers Farse on a series of UK tour dates, and also headlined the O2 Academy in Oxford on several occasions and performed on the main stage at Truck and Charlbury festivals.

Steven has a wide range of other interests and passions, many of which can be explored on this website. You can visit the shop to browse Steven's products.

A highly unusual individual in some respects, yet very normal in others, Steven is driven by the desire to see others reconciled to God through the Lord Jesus Christ. He established StevenColborne.com in order to share his creative work and encourage others to pursue the things of God.
